Renovations
Paint the Town Project
A group of concerned citizens took it upon themselves to paint some of the more needy downtown buildings. Paint was donated by local businesses and
all the work done by volunteers. Many local businesses have caught the painting bug and are giving their own buildings a facelift as well.
Streetscape Project
The Streetscape Project is nearing completion. The downtown has transformed with the addition of sidewalk pavers, antique looking lampposts, planters,
places for trees which will be installed in the Spring, and a town clock.
Building Renovations
Several of the downtown buildings have recently received a facelift. The awnings came off the Ye Old Town Hall and the Maybac/Hamilton Hardware
buildings. The Waitsburg Hardware store continued work on its exterior with an addition of a new sign on the front of the building. The Conoco station put up new signs as well.
The Weller Library building received a fresh coat of paint and the addition of exterior security cameras to help make downtown even safer.
